On 14 May 2024, the ‘Parque Monterey’ construction project in Königsberger Strasse in Baden-Baden celebrated its topping-out ceremony, an important milestone on the way to completion. The event was celebrated in the presence of those involved in the project and the future residents.
The project comprises the construction of three apartment blocks with a total of 40 flats and a commercial unit. The flats are characterised by a barrier-free and environmentally friendly concept and have two to three rooms with balconies and terraces for maximum living comfort. Each building has its own lift for direct access to the underground car park. The construction complies with the guidelines of the Building Energy Act 2020 and meets the BEG Efficiency House Standard 55 EE. The proximity to the kindergarten and the Cité shopping centre makes the flats particularly attractive. The striking architecture blends harmoniously into the cityscape of Baden-Baden.
The topping-out ceremony began with short speeches by the developers: Dr Markus Busch spoke on behalf of the Busch family about the planning phase of the project, Ulrike Verspohl from the Baden-Baden building cooperative presented the construction and Alexander Wieland from GSE Baden-Baden spoke about the successful cooperation.
This was followed by greetings from the First Mayor, Mr Alexander Uhlig, and the Managing Director of weisenburger bau, Mr Ryzlewicz, who opened the traditional part of the topping-out ceremony: the hammering of the nails into the beams and the carpenter's topping-out speech. Afterwards, the participants had the opportunity to view the buildings and round off the celebration with a meal together.
weisenburger bau GmbH is delighted about this milestone and looks forward to further successful cooperation until the completion of ‘Parque Monterey’.
