weisenburger bau GmbH is pleased to announce the successful completion and inauguration of the ‘Seppelskasten’ project in Speyer. In cooperation with Gemeinnütziges Siedlungswerk Speyer (GSW), a building ensemble was realised that creates 43 modern flats for around 100 people.
Particular emphasis was placed on sustainability during the construction of the project. This is reflected in the installation of photovoltaic systems, the greening of roofs, the use of district heating and the installation of charging stations for electric cars in the newly built underground car park. The refurbishment measures focussed on carefully preserving the existing building fabric and largely retaining the original materials.
A considerable number of guests were welcomed to the inauguration ceremony on 17 May, including representatives from the city, church, banks, project participants and future residents. Matthias Ryzlewicz, Managing Director of weisenburger bau, symbolically handed over the key to GSW Managing Director Christian Rohatyn and congratulated him on the successful project.
weisenburger would like to thank the entire construction site team and everyone involved in the project for their excellent cooperation and tireless efforts.
