Bruchsal – The ground-breaking ceremony heralds the start of construction work at 3a Süd in the Bruchsaler Bahnstadt. 171 new rental apartments should be ready to move into in 2020. weisenburger projekt GmbH is acting as the project developer and property developer, while weisenburger bau GmbH will be realising the construction project as the main contractor.
On a plot which is nearly 11,000 square metres in size, eight apartment blocks with two underground garages will be built on the site at 3a Süd, between Marie-Curie- and Bertha-von-Suttner-Weg. A total of 14,190 square metres of residential space will be available on the site once the construction project has been completed. The eight apartment blocks will have lifts and will offer both practical and compact 2-room apartments, as well as family-friendly 4-room apartments. The apartments on the upper floors will have balconies, whereas the ground floor residents will be able to enjoy terraces or gardens. In addition to that, the inside space between the sections of the building will become a green haven which invites you to stay a while and provides children with an area to play.
The new district in the Bahnstadt features short distances to schools, shopping and cultural facilities, as well as good rail and road connections. The newly refurbished bank of the Saalbach nearby also offers additional recreational and leisure areas.
The ground-breaking ceremony was attended not only by Sven Müller, Managing Director of weisenburger projekt, but also Friedrich Georg Hoepfner, Managing Director of Hoepfner BauInvest Plus GmbH & Co. KG as well as City Mayor Cornelia Petzold-Schick.
