weisenburger bau GmbH celebrates the successful completion of a modern residential building in Frankfurt am Main The project in Kantapfelstrasse with a total of 139 residential units creates innovative solutions for contemporary and affordable living in the vibrant metropolis.
Diverse architecture for maximum living comfort
The architecturally appealing yet functional building was created in close cooperation with ABG FRANKFURT HOLDING and the planning company schneider + schumacher mbH. The 22 maisonette apartments on staggered storeys set special accents. While some first floor apartments have terraces in the inner courtyard, others offer a view of the Frankfurt skyline.
More quality of life thanks to mobility solutions
The location of the project offers numerous amenities for residents. An inner courtyard, a small playground and a spacious lawn with various types of trees create a green oasis in the middle of the city. The mobility concept is an integral part of the project, allowing tenants to move around flexibly and sustainably. The underground car park beneath the inner courtyard is equipped with electric charging stations and car-sharing parking spaces to meet the needs of modern mobility. The building is also optimally connected to public transport, with a train station just 100 meters away.
Social responsibility and sustainability
Consideration and promotion of social responsibility is one of the main concerns of the project, which is why 40 percent of the apartments are publicly subsidized. The first floor apartments are designed to be barrier-free in order to create an inclusive living environment. In addition, the building was constructed to the KfW 55 standard. The use of district heating and the integration of retention boxes on the green roof areas, which ensure effective rainwater retention, means that the building's energy supply also meets high ecological standards.
This project will create new and sustainable living space that will enrich Frankfurt and contribute to the positive development of the community. weisenburger bau GmbH would like to thank everyone involved in the project for their successful cooperation.
