The new St. Anton senior center in Bruchsal was inaugurated on July 23, 2022 with a church service and an open day and presented to the numerous guests. Matthias Ryzlewicz, management of weisenburger bau, together with the architect Jörg Richter, handed over the symbolic key to the representatives of Caritas Bruchsal. The move into the first 15 of a total of 60 permanent care places is planned from September 1st, 2022.
However, the new Caritas senior center St. Anton is intended to be more than a care facility:
- There will be four residential groups with a total of 60 stationary places.
- One of these living groups is designed as a protective area especially for people with dementia.
- In addition, St. Anton will offer a residential group for mentally ill people with eight places.
- Service accommodation with 15 to 20 apartments, the Caritas TagesOase with 40 places and a meeting café complete the offer in St. Anton.
With 13 million euros, the budget remained within budget and the planned construction time was adhered to, says Bernhard Firnkes from the Caritas Council proudly. He thanked the city of Bruchsal, architect Jörg Richter, weisenburger bau GmbH and everyone else involved for the great cooperation. weisenburger would also like to thank everyone involved in the project and wishes Cariats Bruchsal a successful start in the new building.
